Joel Bareng, President
Joel has been in the HVAC industry for over 14 years, servicing a wide variety of residential and commercial clients. He is well known in the HVAC community. He enjoys quality time with his wife and two children at their Ewa Beach home. In his spare time, he practices jiu-jitsu and loves to dine at new local restaurants.
Jonathon Bareng, Vice President
Jon has been in the HVAC industry since 2005 and specializes in repairs and installations. He lives in Aiea with his wife and four children and loves to go to the beach and spend family time. Jon also, co-owns Mana Barbell in Kalihi and is active in the powerlifting community where he holds multiple world and national records.
Gerry James (GJ) Ganotisi, Technician
GJ recently began his career in the HVAC industry. GJ is a lead performer and guitarist, in “Playback” and “Hawaii’s Hottest Duo”, a well known band that plays at many local spots. When GJ and his girlfriend are not performing they are spending time with their 2 children at their Salt Lake community parks.
Jimmy James (JJ) Aliska, Technician
JJ has been with HI State Services for the past year and in the HVAC industry since 2013. He is technically trained and one of HI State’s best troubleshooters. JJ and his family moved from Saipan and has called Hawaii home since 2009. JJ lives in Waipahu with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he loves to go spearfishing and BBQing at the beach with his family.
Richard Winget, Lead installer
Richard has been with the team since 2017, his background was in roofing and carpentry before joining the HVAC industry. He loves spending time with his wife and son at their Honolulu home.
